Billie L. Johnson

Mrs. Billie Louise Johnson, age 92 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday March 23, 2014 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas. Bille was born June 14, 1921 in Bend, TX the daughter of Brady Morris and Verdie (White) Morris. She graduated from high school at Junction. She married Jack Johnson and was bookkeeper for his roofing business for many years. Jack preceded her in death in Nov 2008. Billie liked keeping bees, reading the newspaper, was an excellent seamstress and liked to fish. She had lived in the area for over 50 years, the last 15 or so at the lake.   Survivors include daughter, Nancy Faught of Lampasas Son, Stanley Ikonen and wife Laura of VA Sister, Wanda Jo Rozelle of Glen Rose Grandchildren; Crystal Faught-Sterling, Windy Faught, Shelby Faught, Jackie Ikonen, Louis Ikonen, Misty Ikonen, Beverly Miller, Becky Jo Underwood and Patty Reed. 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren also survive.   Billie was preceded in death by son, Wayne Ikonen, brother, Max Morris and 2 sisters; Letha Stafford and Patsy Philpott.   Graveside funeral services for Billie Johnson will be held Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Nix Cemetery.
