David Lawrence Inocencio, age 48 of Kempner, TX died Saturday February 15, 2014 at his home. David was born March 18, 1965 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico the son of Efren Inocencio and Aurelia (Acosta) Inocencio. In 1973 David and his family were living in Mexico; in 1977, when he was 12 years old, they moved to Longview and later San Antonio. David went to the Police Academy and spent his life working in law enforcement; he was a Master Peace Officer. While living in Waco he worked for the Northwest Police Department; in 1997 he began working with the Narcotics Task Force. David also worked for the Coryell County Sheriff’s Department for awhile. He later worked for Dyncorp as Bureau Chief and went overseas, to Iraq, in 2004 to train Iraqi Police. David currently was working for the Gatesville Police Department.
He is survived by mother: Aurelia Inocencio of Longview
Sons: Clay Eerek Gann and Christopher Darryl Gann
Daughter: Casey Denise Gann
Grandchildren: Carter Gann, Michael Tuel, Cami Gann, Karsyon Gann, Chloe Gibson, Cooper Gibson, and Trystn Myhall

David was preceded in death by his father.
A come and go visitation for Mr. Inocencio will be held Monday February 24, 2014 and Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas, TX. Burial will follow at 4:00p.m. in Oak Land Cemetery in Navasota, TX.
