Tommie Prince

Tommie Prince, age 70 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Regal Nursing and Rehab in Lampasas, Texas. Tommie was born September 19, 1943 in Killeen, TX the daughter of Carlos Edwards and Gertrude (Pruitt) Edwards. She married Jimmie Prince August 31, 1962 in Nolanville, Texas. Tommie devoted 30 years to working at Regal Nursing and Rehab in a variety of positions such as: office manager, book keeper, and a nurse’s aide. She was a Baptist and spent almost all her life in Lampasas with her family.   She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jimmie Prince of LampasasHer son: Jimmie Prince Jr. of LampasasBrothers: Jack Edwards of GatesvilleRichard Edwards of NolanvilleGrandchildren: Dylan Prince and Patrick BurnsAs well as several nieces and nephews Tommie was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Gertrude Edwards. A visitation for Mrs. Prince will be held Sunday February 16, 2014 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held Monday February 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Kempner Cemetery.   Memorials may be made to Regal Nursing and Rehabilitation.
