Don Kenyon Bulloch, DDS

Don Kenyon Bulloch, DDS Don Kenyon Bulloch was born December 8, 1931 in Amarillo, TX to James Maxwell Bulloch and Myrtle (Lanier) Bulloch. He graduated in 1949 at Amarillo High School. He attended West Texas State University in Canyon, TX until he went into the U.S. Army. He served in the Army 1952-1954 and was stationed at Okinawa Army Hospital in the Pathology Lab. He was discharged at rank of Corporal. After the Army, he went back to West Texas State University where he graduated in 1955. He worked as a laboratory technician until he went to dental school. He married Bennie Earle DuVall in June 1957 at Lakeview, TX. He started dental school in August at the University of Texas Dental School in Houston. He graduated from dental school in May 1961. They moved to Lampasas in August 1961 to practice dentistry and did so for 50 years here. He is survived by his wife Bennie Bulloch, son, Don Bulloch Jr. and wife Carolyne, son Bryan DuVall Bulloch and wife Janet, and daughter, Sarah Bulloch. 5 grandchildren; Alexi Bulloch, Zackary Bulloch, Caitlin Bulloch, Mckenzie Bulloch, Daegan Bulloch and one step-grandson, Aaron Clough. Don was very active in the community and in the Texas Dental Association. He was the first president in the Jaycees when it was organized and has been in Kiwanis Club, and served on the Board of Trustees of the Lampasas Independent School District. He was elected the Southwest Vice President of the Texas Dental Association. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and was inducted into the International College of Dentists. He was named to Who’s Who in 1968. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Dr. Bulloch was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Max Bulloch Jr, and a sister, Maxine Bulloch. A memorial service will be held Sunday February 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas, TX. Dr. Bulloch’s body will be cremated and his ashes buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.
