John T. Allen Sr.

John Thomas Allen Sr., age 80 of Lampasas, TX died Saturday January 18, 2014 at Regal nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas, TX. John was born December 21, 1933 in Lampasas, TX the son of John Tom Allen and Maudie Elvira (Powledge) Allen. He worked in Commercial construction for many years. He had lived in Lampasas most of is life. He married Shary Die on February 28, 1981. Survivors include wife: Shary Allen of Lampasas Sons; Tommy Allen and wife Janice of Lampasas Jimmy Allen of Lampasas Daughter, Shirley Lee Bestine and husband Paul of Austin 11 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren John was preceded in death by his son, Richard Dale and by his daughter, Patti Ann and by great-grandson, Steven Moreno. John’s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
