Steve Marez

Steve “Bigafoot” Marez of Lampasas, Tx., passed away on January 12, 2014. He was born in Greely, Colorado on August 3, 1949 to Trinidad Marez and Mary Ester Marez. Steve loved life and lived it to the fullest. Steve is survived by Deborah Hawkins, Children: Steve Marez Jr and wife Tess of Lampasas, Phillip Marez and wife Frances of Mesa, Arizona, Monica Marez and husband Donny of Horseshoe Bay, Michelle Marez Krasniqi and husband Donny of Lampasas, Jade Hawkins of Round Rock Brothers: Will Navarrete, Phillip Marez, Manuel Marez, Ralph Marez Sr., Rick Marez, and Alex Marez. Sisters: Josie Garza, Vera Garza, Annabell Salazar, Eloise Robles and Sylvia Morua;15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday January 18, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Pedro Castillo will be officiating. Rosary will be recited Friday January 17, 2014 at 7 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Steve Marez is preceded in death by his wife Angelita Marez, father Trinidad B. Marez, Mother Mary Ester Marez, and Brother Thomas Marez.
