George McClure

George McClure, age 63 of Lampasas, TX died at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX Friday January 3, 2014. George was born March 24, 1950 in Bracketville, TX the son of Oscar McClure and Lola Mae (Snyder) McClure. He married Barbara (Hicks) Carlson and had lived in the area since early 1980’s. George worked at Ft. Hood in the Range Control Dept. He was also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for 12 years. Survivors are wife Barbara Carlson of Lampasas Daughter, Lola Cicarelli of New York state Sons; George McClure Jr. of Thompson, CT Sean McClure of Austin Brothers; Alvin McClure and John McClure both of Bracketville 4 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents. George’s body will be cremated and there are no formal services planned.
