Woodrow (Butch) David Reynolds

Woodrow David Reynolds Jr. (Butch), age 67 of Adamsville, TX died Tuesday November 12, 2013 at Providence Hospital in Waco with his family by his side. He was born August 29, 1946 in El Campo, TX the son of Woodrow David Reynolds Sr. (W.D.) and Florence Louise (Bowers) Reynolds. He graduated from Lamesa I.S.D. in 1965 and attended Wharton Jr. College in Wharton, TX. Butch worked for Dowell Oil Service which became Schlumberger in Victoria and Graham, TX. He also worked for Hexeel in Graham, TX. When he moved to Adamsville he enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming-raising, and baling hay. He tended to the lawn and other responsibilities in the Adamsville Presbyterian Church. Survivors include 3 sisters: Mary Fitzgerald (Ray) of Adamsville, TX Jo Ruthelene Neisser of Cuero, TX Janet Shipman (Clinton) of Victory, TX Brother: Ronnie Reynolds (Liz) of Deer Park, TX Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends Butch was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation for Mr. Reynolds will be on Thursday November 14, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday November 15, 2013 at 10: a.m. at Adamsville Presbyterian Church; burial will follow at Hines Chapel Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Presbyterian Children’s Home in Waxahachie, TX, Adamsville Presbyterian Church, or the charity of your choice.
