Malvadene Land

Malvadene Land, age 69 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday morning at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. Malvadene was born June 22, 1944 in Bristol England the daughter of Everett Marshall and Margaret (Read) Marshall. She married William Joseph Land Sr. and he preceded her in death. Malvadene was a dietician at Darnell Army Hospital and later worked in the cafeteria for Lampasas ISD. She attended the Lutheran Church and had been a resident of Lampasas for 43 years. Survivors include her son, William J. Land Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Taylor, TX Sister, Dian Marshall of Lampasas Brothers, Donny and Ronny Marshall 6 grandchildren; Krista Moore, Kody Land, Kyle Land, Kelli Land, Jennifer Land and Edwin Villasenor 6 great-grandchildren; Hagen, Cheyenne, Kayden, Cierra, Jaidyn and Richard Mrs. Land was preceded in death by her husband, her son: Clayton Land, her brother: David Marshall, and Oliver (Slim) Benoist. A memorial service for Mrs. Land will be held Saturday October 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Her body will be cremated. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
