Susie Melton

Susie Melton, age 74 of Burnet County, Texas died Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. Susie was born May 18, 1939 in Liberty Hill, TX the daughter of Jack Davis and Sally Mae (Incore) Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of 1st Baptist Church Lake Victor, TX. She married Ernest Melton in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Survivors include; daughter, Melissa Graves and husband Billy of Burnet County Son, Donald Melton and wife Brenda of Burnet County Sisters; Bernice Osteen of Oregon, Doris Conyers of Lockhart, TX, Minnie Hooper of San Antonio, TX and Janet Stovall of Gatesville, TX Brother, John Henry Davis of Gatesville, TX Grandchildren; Chris Melton and Jerry Melton Great-grandchildren; C.J., Carter and Corbin A memorial service will be held at 1st Baptist Church in Lake Victor, TX Saturday October 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. Susie’s body will be cremated.
