Annie Geneva O’Banon, age 92 of Taylor, TX (formerly of Lometa, TX) died Monday October 7, 2013 at Park Valley Inn in Round Rock, TX. Geneva was born December 11, 1920 in Lampasas County the daughter of Johnnie Elmer “Cotton” Cook and Ida Ola (Hughes) Cook. Geneva married Chauncey Karcher “CK” O’Banon March 28, 1942. She was a member of the Baptist Church and loved family events, sewing and crocheting. She called Lometa area her home for about 48 years and had also lived in Stockdale, Lampasas, Hutto, Harker Heights and Taylor.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, Chauncey E. O’Banon, Jimmy Doyle O’Banon, by a sister, Alma Mae Cook O’Banon and by brother, Henry Cook.
Funeral service for Mrs. O’Banon will be held Saturday October 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Senterfitt Cemetery Lometa, TX. Visitation will be Saturday morning at 11:00a.m.
