Imadean (Dean) Studdard, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, and Friend passed away Wednesday September 4, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Henry Elvin Studdard and her only child, Gary Lee Studdard. She is survived by her three granddaughters Candace Studdard, Michelle Grossi, and Sherry Kelley and her daughter-in-law, Patsy, all of California. She leaves behind eight great-grandchildren, Elaine, Joey, Gregory, Melanie, Jaida, Hailee, Harlow, and Garytt, all of California. She is also survived by her close friend Bill Turner of Lampasas. Dean is survived by Gary’s cousins: Warren and Cheryl Studdard, Alta O’Donnell, Beth and Matt Corbin, and Bryan and Cindi Studdard. She is also survived by her sister Wilma Gilley of Missouri. The family would like to thank Kerinda Turner for her unselfish assistance during Dean’s final illness. Mrs. Studdard was born in Busch, Arkansas and was a resident of Lampasas for over 40 years. She worked as a hostess in several local restaurants and as a custody specialist for the Lampasas sheriff department prior to her retirement. Dean enjoyed traveling, meeting friends and country dancing at the AmVets/VFW, fishing trips to the river, and spending time with her family. She had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and never missed watching wrestling or Wheel of Fortune on TV. She will always be remembered for her caring and unselfish love throughout her life. She will be forever missed and loved by her family and friends. Heaven is now a better place because of her arrival as she is reunited with her husband Henry and her son Gary. You can just bet that they are celebrating their reunion. Viewing will be at the Sneed Funeral Chapel on Friday September 6, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bangs Cemetery in Bangs, Texas. The Studdard family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support shown at this difficult time.
