Alice Mae Maasen

Alice Mae Maasen, age 85 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday September 1, 2013 at a local nursing home. Alice was born November 8, 1927 in Hampton, IA the daughter of Edward Oehlert and Edna (Pickering) Oehlert. She was married to Ernest Maasen and he preceded her in death. Alice worked for the postal service for many years. She was also a homemaker, enjoyed babysitting and playing card games. Survivors include; son, Gary Morgan 2 daughters; Patricia Ann Morgan Smock (Jim) Debra Morgan 3 grandchildren; James Smock, Tonya Branan and Shane Smock 4 great-grandchildren; Greenlee, Vincent, Hayden and Eligh Brother, Ronald Oehlert Alice’s body will be cremated and her ashes to be placed at the family cemetery in Gladbrook, IA at a later date.
