Betty Louise Mitchell

Betty Mitchell was born January 16, 1935 in Garnet Kansas to Randal and Mamie Bronson. She was raised in Leroy, Kansas. She was married to Robert Amos Mitchell in 1953. He preceded her in death. They had a wonderful marriage of 46 years. She had two daughters Roberta Ann Mitchell and Betty Mae Atkins. Roberta preceded her in death. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by daughter Betty and her husband Carl. She also has 3 grand children John Atkins and his wife Abbie of St. Paul Minn., Joel Atkins of Dallas and Brenda Atkins of Lampasas. She had one great granddaughter Lily Nicole Atkins of St. Paul. She is also survived by a sister Mildred Marquez of Los Vegas Nevada. Mrs. Mitchell worked for many years in retail sales and most recently worked for Wal-mart. She enjoyed working with the public and always had a smile for all she met. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Christ the Rock Church for many years and will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Monday July 29, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Tuesday July 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with burial at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Burial Park in Waxahachie, TX.
