David Morgan

David Morgan, age 84 of Lampasas, TX died June 25, 2013 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. He was born October 18, 1928 in Hillsboro, TX, the son of Jesse James Morgan and Willie Mae (Simmons) Morgan. David served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Joyce Dodd on June 4, 1955. David later worked as a concrete supervisor. He lived in Austin for most of his life, before moving to Lampasas with Joyce 6 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Morgan of Lampasas Daughters; Patricia Glenn and husband Ricki of Austin Bobbie Johnson and husband Sammy of Lampasas Son, David Morgan of China Springs 3 sisters 1 brother 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren David was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson, and his twin brother, Donald Morgan. A funeral service for Mr. Morgan will be held on Thursday June 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander.
