Cleo Gossett

Cleo Velma Gossett, age 85 of Tow, TX formerly of San Saba, TX died Friday morning June 7, 2013 at Kingsland Nursing Center in Kingsland, TX. Cleo was born August 19, 1927 in Colony, TX the daughter of Hugh and Fannie (Tatum) Jones. She married James Benjamin Gossett in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Cleo had lived the majority of her life in San Saba and enjoyed quilting and taking care of her family. Survivors include 3 sons: Bobby Gossett and wife Jessie of Tow, TX Jarvis Gossett and wife Mary of San Saba Dalton Gossett and wife Judith of Shreveport, LA 2 brothers: James Jones of Oregon and Hugh Jones of Nevada 4 sisters: Lillian Thorp of Lampasas, Letha Wright of Killeen, Jean Ratliff of Austin and Phennie Judkins of San Saba 5 grandchildren: Lori, Audra, Roy, Vikki and Tori 6 great-grandchildren: Amy, Austin, Heather, Hailey, Luke and Caroline Cleo was preceded in death by a sister, 4 brothers and her husband. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Chappel Cemetery.
