Sandra Gonzalez

Sandra Kay Gibbs Gonzalez, age 66 of Lampasas, Texas died Wednesday May 15, 2013 at her home. Sandra was born January 17, 1947 in Alice, Texas the daughter of Jack Gibbs and Mary (Olsovsky) Gibbs. She lived in Lampasas from 1958 to 1965, when she graduated from Lampasas High School. Sandra attended Texas Women’s University where she received a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She worked in Haiti for one year before eventually ending up in San Antonio with her husband, Dr. Vidalino Gonzalez. Survivors include her step son, Vidal Gonzalez and his wife Teresa of San Antonio Brothers, Jack Gibbs and his wife Georgie of Hempstead Mike Gibbs and his wife Cecile of San Antonio Meredith Gibbs and his wife Chrisdean of Hempstead Sam Gibbs and wife Marvey Sister, MaryAnn Cox and husband Johnny of Stanton 4 step-grandchildren Numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Vidalino Gonzalez, and by her parents. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday May 17, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
