Ocea Gwendolin Austin, age 90 of Lampasas, TX died Friday May 3, 2013 at Regal Nursing Home in Lampasas. Ocea was born December 30, 1922 in Linn County, MO the daughter of William Glen Edwards and Mary Alice (Long) Edwards. She worked as a secretary and a school teacher and a talented artist. Ocea was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan E. Austin. Visitation for Mrs. Austin will be from 3:00- 4:00p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. She will be buried on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. Memorials may be made to the Richard Williams His Kids Foundation.
