Zachary Antonio Dibble

January 10, 1994 — April 27, 2013

Lampasas resident Zachary Antonio Dibble, 19, passed away in Midland, Texas on Saturday, April 27, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The son of Russell and Lisa (Canales) Dibble, Zac was born in El Paso, Texas on January 10, 1994. After working in the El Paso and Abilene area, the family relocated back to Lampasas, where they continue to reside. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. A visitation was held on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Church. Zac’s start in education began at the First Baptist Church Kindergarten and he continued his education in Lampasas, graduating from Lampasas High School in May, 2012. He was actively involved with the FFA program, winning numerous awards with his Ag Mechanic projects in both welding and woodworking. During high school, Zac was involved in the co-op program and worked for his parents’ company, Canales-Dibble Contractors, Inc. He continued working construction in Victoria this past winter and was currently working in the oilfield industry in Midland. Zac enjoyed hunting, fishing, diesel trucks, hanging out at Storm’s back parking lot, and cruising Key Avenue. But he also enjoyed just hanging out with his buddies, roaming up and down Sulphur Creek on his family’s land. He was a loving, caring, and loyal friend to so many. Zac lived life day to day, always looking for that next adventure and his next tank of diesel. He is survived by his parents; a brother Jake Dibble; maternal grandmother Wanda Canales all of Lampasas; and an aunt, Karen Canales, of Cedar Park. Paternal grandparents Tom & Helen Caldwell of Tucumcari, New Mexico; five (5) uncles, Jeff Dibble of Anchorage, Alaska; Phillip Dibble & Patty of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Tony Dibble & Cindy Gonzales of Corrales, New Mexico; Martin Dibble & Christi of Florence, Texas; Scott Caldwell of Tucumcari, New Mexico; an aunt, Andrea Gossett & Steve of Corrales, New Mexico; along with numerous cousins and countless numbers of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Canales and his paternal grandfather, Frank Dibble. In Zac’s memory, a scholarship fund has been established for trade school bound students. Contributions will be accepted at: First Texas Bank P. O.
