Thelma Haynes

Thelma Jacquelyn Haynes, age 79 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday February 19, 2013 at her home. Thelma was born December 21, 1933 in Royal Oak, MI the daughter of Thomas J. Comfort and Thelma A. (French) Comfort. She has lived in Lampasas for 6 years, moving here from Centerline, MI. She was a Christian, a member of the Humane Society; she loved her family, cats, knitting, crocheting and reading. Survivors include 4 children; John MacKelvie of CA Jeff MacKelvie of CA Cindy & Phil Garey of CA Linda & Mike Ramon of Lampasas Sister, Methuel Lawson of MI Grandchildren; Amanda & Eric Wilson, Angie & Nick Rockwell, Megan MacKelvie, Corey MacKelvie; Step Grandchildren: Shannon Garey, Erin Garey, Joshua & Ashley Ramon, Christa & Christopher Lee, Shelby & Zachary Netzler Step Great-granddaughter, Kameryn Ramon Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma & Thomas Comfort; husband, John Haynes, two brothers: Thomas and Jerry Comfort and sister, Mary Alice Johnson A private service will be held at a later date.
