Mark Elliot McCarther

Mark Elliot McCarther, age 23 of Lampasas, Texas died Monday February 18, 2013 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Mark was born March 17, 1989 in Burnet, Texas the son of Robert E. McCarther and Debra L. (Roper) McCarther. Mark graduated from Lampasas High School in 2008. He was a customer service assistant at the local Wal-Mart. Mark lived in Abilene for nine years, but spent the rest of his life in Lampasas. He attended Grace Fellowship, Church of the Hills, and New Covenant. Survivors include his parents, Bob and Debra McCarther of Lampasas Maternal grandparents; Gene and Elena Roper of Sayre, Oklahoma Step-grandmother, Betty McCarther Brother, Eric McCarther Sister, Malorie Arellano, husband Adam and their children Emma, Harley, and Marley of Pueblo, Colorado Aunts; Cindy Roper Patricia Tharp and husband Tony Linda Pederson and husband Finn Uncles, Gary McCarther and wife Pam Darrell McCarther and wife Carol Numerous cousins Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Funeral services for Mark McCarther will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Fellowship in Lampasas. Visitation will be Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Grace Fellowship. Mark will be buried at Lone Oak Cemetery near Sayre, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Children of the World Tour. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
