Glenn Wayne Cox

Glenn Wayne Cox, age 80 of Lampasas, TX died Friday February 15, 2013 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. Glenn was born April 20, 1932 in Cross Plains, TX the son of John Calvin Cox and Evelyn Florence (Smith) Cox. Glenn joined the U.S. Navy at age 17 and served several years. He married Sylvia Boyd on November 5, 1952 in Brownwood, TX. Glenn was a line driver for Central Freight for 40 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include wife; Sylvia Cox of Lampasas 2 sons; Bryan Cox and wife Carol of Stanton, TX Johnny Cox and wife Mary Ann of Stanton, TX Brother, Lynn Cox of Copperas Cove 5 grandchildren; Misty McMorries and Kyle, Brad Cox and Christina, Lacey Guzman and Chilo, Sandi Cox and Dylan Cox 6 great-grandchildren; Julia, Isabella, Boyd, Gabriella, Nayce and Callaway Glenn was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Glenn W. Cox will be held on Sunday February 17, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, Texas.
