Ella Dee Gholson

Ella Dee Gholson, age 83 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Dee was born January 13, 1930 in Brownwood, TX the daughter of Kirk Reynolds and Ella (Rhoades) Reynolds. She grew up in Brownwood and attended school there. Dee married Kenneth Gholson January 23, 1967; he passed away in January of last year. She worked as a Human Resources clerk for Ft. Hood for a number for years. Dee has been a residence of Lampasas since 1967 and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son: Dan Risinger of Lampasas 3 Grandchildren: Tracy Kristof and Billy Dana Fryar and Norman Bo Perkins and Melissa 7 Great-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Sherry, Cari, Landon, Lana, Haven, and Jacade 2 Great-great- grandchildren: Jaycee and Kali Dee was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and her husband; Kenneth. Funeral services for Ella Dee Gholson will be held on Friday January 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
