Gerald Douglas Dyer

Gerald Douglas Dyer, age 70 of Converse, TX (Formerly of Lometa, TX) died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at his daughter’s home. Gerald was born October 10, 1942 in Gatesville, TX the son of Ivan Wayne (Toad) Dyer and Jessie Irene (White) Dyer. He worked as an aviation mechanic specializing in fuel systems at Randolph A.F.B for 27 years. He enjoyed old cars, tractors and ranching. He attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Shana Shaner (Josef) of Universal City, TX Grandson, Dakota Wayne Dyer Brother, Ivan Earl “Skeek” Dyer of Houston Several nieces Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and by 2 brothers; Terry and Donnie Funeral services for Gerald Dyer will be held on Saturday January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
