Willie Beatrice Parker

Mrs. Willie Beatrice Parker, age 90 of Lampasas, TX died Monday December 31, 2012 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas, TX. Bea was born June 28, 1922 in Brady, TX the daughter of Arnold E. Roberts and Fannie (Gravis) Roberts. She was married to Leslie Allen Parker and he preceded her in death in 1980. Bea was owner and operator of Lampasas Upholstery for over 40 years. She also taught classes in the trade of upholstery for over 20 years. Bea was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas, where she was an active member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Survivors include son, Leslie Parker and wife Sally of Sherman, TX 2 daughters; Elaine Brown of Copperas Cove and Kathie Andrews and husband Richard of Lampasas 2 sisters; Orlean Williams of San Saba and Dorothy Joyce of Mountain Home, Arkansas 9 grandchildren; Brian, Cindy, Barry, Justin, Quint, Kyle, Michelle, Heath and Adrian 12 great-grandchildren One great great-grandchild Bea was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son John Parker, a grandson, John B. Parker (Little John), by 2 brothers; H.L. Roberts and Roy Roberts. Funeral services for Beatrice Parker will be held on Friday January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Texas. A visitation will be Thursday January 3, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
