Oliver Benoist

Oliver “Slim” Benoist, age 87 of Lampasas, Texas died December 27, 2012 at his home. He was born May 18, 1925 in Lampasas, the son of Ben and Mable Benoist. Oliver worked as a farmer and lived in Lampasas most of his life. He also served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife; Malva Land Step-daughter; Sandra Woody Step-son; Billy Ray Ellis Daughter-in-law; Sandra Benoist Brothers; James Benoist Robert “Red” Benoist Grandsons; William Benoist Garry Benoist 9 Step-grandchildren Numerous great grandchildren Oliver was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Geneva, and his son, Robert. Funeral services for Oliver “Slim” Benoist will be held on Sunday December 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Texas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
