Evelyn Bridges

Evelyn Joyce Bridges, age 87 of Lampasas, Texas died December 22, 2012 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital. She was born June 17, 1925 in Avalon, Texas, the daughter of Clarence D. Southard and Lilla (Taylor) Southard. Evelyn worked as an insurance agent in Killeen for 30 years. She was the first female insurance agent to work for the International Service Insurance Group. Evelyn was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church in Lampasas, Texas. Survivors include daughters; Marilyn Michelli of Copperas Cove Carolyn Joyce Colvin of Houston Sons; Otis Lee Bridges of Lake Conroe, Texas Davis Lee Bridges of San Antonio 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 3 great-grandsons Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Lillian Regena Bridges, her husband Frank M. Bridges, and 4 siblings. Funeral services for Evelyn Bridges will be held on Wednesday December 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Texas.
