Orville Hensler

Orville L. “Jim” Hensler, age 84 of Kempner, TX died December 21, 2012 at Sante Fe Rehabilitation Hospital in Temple, TX. Jim was born May 9, 1928 in Portand, WI the son of Frank Edward Hensler and Ella (Giese) Hensler. He served in the U.S. Army as radar operator and electronic engineer. He was honorably discharged as Warrant Officer 2. Jim was past district commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas, TX. Survivors include daughters; Nancy Brooks and husband Roy of Kempner Sally Yancy and husband David of Kempner Sister, Elaine Beyer and husband Kenneth of Watertown, WI Granddaughter, Brandyl Julia Brooks Jim was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters Funeral services for Jim Hensler will be held on Saturday December 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas, Texas. Visitation will be Friday December 28, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
