Rosie L. Brown, age 79 of Lampasas, Texas died December 18, 2012 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. She was born October 9, 1933 in Eastland County, the daughter of John Dempsey Koen and Edith (Langley) Koen. Rosie married W.L. Brown on January 24, 1950. Rosie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Red Bud Home Demonstrations Club, and a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Rosie was an avid collector and active in her church. She lived in Mills, Lampasas, and Burnet counties all of her life. Survivors include daughters; Regina Lee Frasier and husband Phil of Ingram Donna Burson and husband Brian of Florence Brothers; Ottis Koen and Charlie Koen of Comanche Grandchildren; John O. Brown, Jacque Myers, Joshua G. Brown, Jordan Hairston, Cole Hairston, Hunter Hairston, Logan Frasier, Amanda Latham, Bradley Burson, Weston Burson, and Jamie Brown Great-grandchildren; Ethan, William, Oliver, Cameron, Blake, Easton, Ella, Bailey, and Lily Rosie was preceded in death by her son, William Gene Brown, and her husband, W.L. Brown. Funeral services for Rosie Brown will be held on Friday December 21, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday December 20, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
