Otomie Lucia Gill

Otomie Lucia Gill, age 80 of Lampasas, TX died Friday December 7, 2012 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. Otomie was born September 16, 1932 in Robstown, TX the daughter of Steve Olivarez and Guadalupe (Hernandez) Olivarez. She was married to Gilbert Gill, and he preceded her in death in 2001. She worked for Producers Produce in Lampasas for 25 years, then she operated her own child-care facility for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. Survivors include: 5 sons; Rudolph G. Gill Sr. (Patricia) of Lampasas, TX Alexander Gill of Cedar Park, TX Henry Gill (Teresa) of Hutto, TX Joe Gill (Kay) of Lampasas, TX Jimmy Gill (Teresa) Tow, TX 2 sisters; Socorro Torrez of Arlington, TX and Guadalupe Velasquez of Pampa, TX Brother, Cruz Olivarez of Spur, TX 14 grandchildren; Brandy, Rudolph Jr., Sheena, Sasha, Alexander Jr., Stephanie, Sean, Alicia, Ashley, Tristan, Kolby, Sheridan, Jessica and Jimmy Jr. 10 great-grandchildren; Brooke, Grant, Natalie, Jamie, Ryan, Anthony, Lilyana, Layla, Alyssa and Grayson She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Steve, Manuel and Frank Olivarez and by sister, Toni Vasquez. A funeral mass for Otomie Gill will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas, TX. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
