Jo Anne Smith

Jo Anne (Eicher) Smith, 75, of Kempner, passed away October 25, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Smith was born July 3, 1937 in Tacoma, Washington, the daughter of George Eicher and Georgia (Todd) Eicher. She lived in Kempner for the past 20 years. Mrs. Smith spent time in the Navy. She was a homemaker, an avid seamstress, and Grandmother. Survivors include: Sons; Charles Smith of Auburn, Washington Robert Smith and wife Andrijana of Germany Daughters; Kelly Bogue and husband Alan of Tacoma, Washington Liz Demmel and husband Jim of Kempner Mitzi Hebert and husband Sidney of Florida Sisters; Germaine Wells LoRae Cammel Brothers; Frank Eicher of Washington Orin Eicher of Washington George Eicher of Washington Grandchildren; Alan Bogue Jr., Stephen Demmel, Emily Demmel, Sara Smith Michael Evans, Valarie Cook Great-grandchildren; Dominque Evans, Savanna Cook, Mitzi Fe Evans, Mikayla Evans She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis D. Smith, sister Eunice Hughes, and brother Neil Eicher. A funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held on Friday November 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. in Killeen. Visitation will be Thursday November 1, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
