Amelia Fields, age 75 of Adamsville, Texas died Monday October 1, 2012 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. Amelia was born May 8, 1937 in Lampasas, Texas the daughter of John Casbeer and Essola (Stafford) Casbeer. She married Charles Fields on August 4, 1956. Amelia was a business office manager and a bookkeeper for Hoffpauir Chevrolet for 40 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Amelia also served as a county election judge, was a member of the Town and Country Study Club and served on numerous church committees. She was active in the Adamsville Community Center, and in Gage Family Reunions. Amelia was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lampasas, and a resident of Lampasas all of her life.

Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Carroll Casbeer, and by her aunt Ella Mae Stafford.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fields will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas, with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
