Tydalee Inez Pearce Crocker, age 89 of Lampasas, Texas died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Regal Nursing Home in Lampasas. Tydalee Inez Pearce Crocker was born October 16, 1922 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Oran and Hattie Pearce. She was the youngest of their nine children and was the last living child. She was united in marriage with Lloyd Crocker on August 12, 1943. They made their home in Lampasas, Texas. They had one daughter, Reba Crocker, who married Steve Mooney. Lloyd and Tyda also enjoyed their only beloved granddaughter, Jill Mooney Quenomoen. Lloyd preceded Tyda in death on November 03, 1992, after 49 years of marriage. She was blessed with three great granddaughters who came along after Lloyd’s passing: Amaszia Pena Quenomoen, Arianna Quenomoen, and Allyson Quenomoen. She also had one step great-grandson, Anthony Quenomoen.
Tyda had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior, and was a member of Christ the Rock Church, formerly First Assembly of God Church for many, many years. She was also well known and respected for her professional dog grooming and boarding business. She took great pride in telling friends how many dogs she groomed on any given day! She also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing a home cooked meal, or baking desserts, or canning fruit. She loved sitting in her chair working on a crocheted afghan, or a bedspread, or anything involving yarn. Her work was nothing short of perfection.
She leaves behind her daughter Reba and son in law, Steve Mooney, granddaughter, Jill Mooney Quenomoen and husband Tony Quenomoen, her great-grandchildren, Amaszia, Arianna, Allyson, and Anthony, and many other nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
