Daisy Ann Torres

Daisy Ann Torres, age 48 of Lometa, TX (formerly of Elgin, TX) died Saturday September 22, 2012 at her home. Daisy was born October 17, 1963 in Elgin, TX the daughter of Frank Garza and Lucy (Martinez). She attended Elgin schools and later went to cosmetology school. Daisy had worked as a clerk and a bookkeeper for many years and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include: husband, Amado “Amos” Torres of Lometa Son, Gregory James Serafin of Austin Daughters; Selena Serafin of Marble Falls Marissa Carrillo of Lometa Brothers; Chris Flores of Elgin Johnny Capetillo of Austin Father, Frank Garza of Austin 6 grandchildren; Justin, Jennifer, Janine, Alexa, Gregory Jr., Kaleb Daisy was preceded in death by her Mother, Grandparents and an uncle. Rosary will be recited on Sunday September 23, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Another viewing is scheduled for Tuesday morning September 25, 2012 from 10 until noon at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin, TX.
