Mickey Lanier Arms, age 55 of Leander, Texas died Monday September 10, 2012 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX. Mickey was born November 10, 1956 in Beeville, Texas the son of J.D. Arms and Vastine (Lynch) Arms. He grew up in Lampasas. Mickey attended the Police Academy and was a police officer in Williamson County and Central TX. Survivors include: Daughters; Crystal Dobbs and husband Richard of Leander, TX Kimberly DuFresne and husband Lionel of Killeen, TX Maggie Arms Annie Arms Brothers; Jimmy Ray Arms of Albuquerque, NM Wesley Arms of Lampasas, TX Lawerence Lloyd Arms of Palestine, TX Sisters; Joyce Hieney of Lampasas, TX Laura Arms of Cedar Park, TX Betty Ackerman of Splendora, TX Patsy Dunlap of Lampasas, TX Donna Daniel of Knoxville, TN Nancy Lindsey of Lampasas, TX Jannetta Kattner of Copperas Cove, TX Rosemary Smith of Belton, TX 11 grandchildren Mickey was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, Charles, Marvin, and Donald; as well as his sister Nelda Foshion. Visitation will Friday September 14, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
