Barbara Potts

Barbara Pauline Potts, age 76 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday August 15, 2012 at her home. Barbara was born September 8, 1935 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Louis Charles Roberts Jr. and Pauline (Nuckles) Roberts. Barbara graduated from the Hockaday School in 1953, and attended Smith College. She had held memberships in Dallas Woman’s Club, Dallas Garden Club, Thursday Luncheon Club, and Books and Brown Bags. Barbara was also a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas, for which she had served as a member of the Vestry, delegate to diocesan council, usher, and prayer shawl ministry. She attended Cursillo in 1990. Survivors include: Son; Scott Austin Morway, and his children Austin, Haley, Caroline and Preston Morway Stepson; McCright K. Potts, and his children Hugo and Margot Sisters-in-law; Reverend Lil Belusa Evantha P. Riley Patsie N. Potts Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Potts Jr., her parents, her brother Louis C. Roberts III, her grandson Raymond Tyler Morway, and her stepson Monte Potts. Graveside services will be held on Monday August 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith School Creek Cemetery. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas.
