Clinton Truman Kunze, age 29 of Rosebud, TX died Thursday July 26, 2012. Clinton was born November 27, 1982 in Rosebud, the son of Curtis Kunze and Lynda Sells. Clinton brought his first bicycle home on the bus from school. He had cotton-top hair like his daddy, which was always singed in the winter from standing so close to the space heater. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. Clinton always wanted to help people, so he joined the army. Clinton was a Sergeant. He was the recipient of numerous awards; He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Meritorious Unit Citation, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, The Iraqi Campaign Medal Campaign Star, the Global War on Terrorism Expedition Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Ribbon, and the Combat Action Badge. He went wherever he was called, putting himself in harm’s way with four tours overseas. But his greatest love and affection was for his precious daughter, Mercedez. His love for her was unsurpassed. Survivors include: Daughter, Mercedez Kunze Father and stepmother, Curtis and Modina Kunze Mother and stepfather, Lynda and Kenneth Sells Brothers; Bryan Kunze and his wife Debra, Jason Brown Sisters; Bridget Bruce, Leslie Brown, Tracie Thompson and her husband Terry Grandmothers; Hazel Kunze, Edna Spivey, and Virginia Sells Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews Clinton was preceded in death by his grandfathers Charles Sells, Dick Kunze, and LeRoy Spivey. Funeral services for Mr. Kunze will be held on Sunday August 5, 2012 at 11:00 am at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with Bryan Kunze officiating. Burial will follow at Long Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday August 4, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
