Robert DeLaCruz

Robert A. DeLaCruz, age 65 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home. Robert was born April 7, 1947 in Lampasas, the son of Domingo DeLaCruz and Carolina (Alvarado) DeLaCruz. In 1985, he married Genoveva Maldonado. Robert worked for H.E.B. as a receiving clerk for a number of years. He played baseball for the Chapparal’s, and enjoyed playing golf. Survivors include: wife, Beva DeLaCruz of Lampasas Son; Domingo DeLaCruz of Lampasas Daughters; Julie Carpenter and husband Kelly of Lampasas Denise Hunter and husband Tommy of Lampasas Stepsons; David Curiel of Leander Robert Curiel of Geogetown Stepdaughters; Darlene Argo of Lampasas Diane Macchiarelli of Connecticut Brother, Rey DeLaCruz and wife Christy of Lampasas Sister, Lori Rivera of Lampsas Grandchildren; Cody Carpenter, Dyran and Devin Self, and Maci Jones Numerous nieces and nephews Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, and a stepson. Rosary will be recited Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas.
