Richard Keith Ray

Richard Keith Ray, age 82 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday July 24, 2012 at his home. Keith was born February 13, 1930 in Lampasas, the son of Sherman D. Ray and Beulah (Foy) Ray. Keith worked as a Department of Public Safety dispatcher for 14 years. He was a lifetime member of AMVETS and the VFW. Keith was of Protestant faith and a resident of Lampasas all of his life. He also served in the U.S. Army for 6 years during Korean War. Survivors include: wife, Juanita Ray of Lampasas Son, Mike Ray and wife Lisa of Lometa Daughters; Kathy Logsdon and husband Bill of Lometa Karen Stoneham and husband Trey of Lampasas Brothers; Ted Ray and wife Nell of Lampasas George Ray and wife Margie of Austin Grandchildren; Shawn and wife Bree, James and wife Joann, Josh, D’Artagnan, Tate, Blaire, Kelsie, Shyhann Great-grandchildren; Johnny, Jacob, Rowdi, and Shay Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty Ray, and his grandson Brodie. Funeral services for Mr. Ray will be held on Friday July 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with Reid Schaub officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday July 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
