Melvin Leon Bozeman

Melvin Leon Bozeman, age 73 of Lampasas, TX died Friday June 29, 2012 at Rollins- Brook Community Hospital. Melvin was born May 20, 1939 in Dallas, TX the son of Percy Leon Bozeman and Faye (Brown) Bozeman. He graduated from Plano High School and attended North Texas University. Melvin was a general contractor for many years in Dallas and Plano, working in both residential and commercial construction. He later retired to the Burnet county ranch in 1982. He married Sally S. Covington on December 14, 1984 in Watson, TX. Mel was of Baptist faith. His family includes; wife Sally Bozeman of Lampasas Daughters; Hanna Bozeman of San Angelo, TX Kristi Artman and Leigh Ann Cadenhead both of Allen, TX Sister, Sandra Bozeman Thetford and husband Felix of Dallas Brother, Lyndon Bozeman and wife Candy of Dallas 2 grandsons; Kirk Humes and Chase Trice Melvin was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother-in-law, Joe Griffin. A graveside service will be held Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday July 2nd from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
